Adventa Control Technologies, Inc.
releases WORKS 7.2 at its annual European user group meetings in Dresden
May 22, 2007, Plano, TX: Adventa Control
Technologies, Inc. (ACT) recently attended the 2007 European AEC/APC
Conference in Dresden, Germany, where it also held the annual European
ProcessWORKS user group meetings and announced the release of the 7.2
version of its WORKS software.
The conference, held annually by the European semiconductor
industry, attracts business executives, IT professionals, and engineers from
leading device manufacturers across Europe and the world. ACT, a conference
contributor, presented a well-received discussion on the data acquisition
challenges faced in equipment control.
Also in Europe, ACT held their annual European ProcessWORKS
Technical Advisory Board (PTAB) meeting, where they formally announced the
7.2 release of the WORKS product suite. Attendees, consisting of engineers
from European companies such as Renasas and STMicroelectronics, had the
opportunity to review the ProcessWORKS 7.2 new features and discuss the
roadmap for future releases.
"We consider the PTAB a success in that our customers gave us
some very good input that will play a role in the decisions that shape the
product’s future. The PTAB gives us the information we need to prioritize
our customer requirements and ensure that our product adapts as their needs
change," says Steve Musolf, Director of Manufacturing Systems.
New features to ProcessWORKS include enhanced context
management, lot management, optional LDAP Security Mode, and enhancements to
control history feedforwards, the Ordered Tuner, and client application
management.
