Adventa Control Technologies, Inc. expands platform
support for the WORKS software suite
January 27, 2006, Plano, TX:
Adventa Control Technologies, Inc. now supports more platforms than ever,
with the recent addition of HP Unix and RedHat Enterprise Linux (on
x86-based platforms) to its latest WORKS releases. The WORKS suite of
software includes products that control processes, manage recipes, and
monitor equipment in semiconductor manufacturing facilities. WORKS 7.0 was
released in late 2005 with HP Unix support, while WORKS 7.1 will soon be
released with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) support.
“Making integration easy is a key selling point for the WORKS
products,” said Steve Musolf, Adventa’s Director of Manufacturing Systems,
“We take a lot of pride in both our integration improvements and our
application enhancements.”
HP Unix and RHEL platforms join Sun Solaris and Windows
platforms, as Adventa continues to provide customers with the flexibility to
customize a choice that is right for them. According to Mr. Musolf,
“Offering more options helps our customers integrate our products more
easily into their IT environments.”
