May 2004: Adventa Celebrates 3,000 OEM Tools in Production

Adventa Control
Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Plano, Texas, licenses machine and
process control software (ControlWORKS) to semiconductor equipment OEMs. At
the close of the first quarter of 2004, Adventa reached a milestone of
3,000 OEM systems shipped to production fabs worldwide.
“Three thousand OEM systems in
production further validates ControlWORKS as the solution for equipment
manufacturers to reduce their control development and maintenance cost while
achieving an extremely short time-to-market for 300mm control systems,” said
an Adventa representative. “We are excited that so
many OEMs have turned to Adventa to help them address not only their machine
and process control requirements but the need to meet 300mm standards for
factory communications. Production fabs worldwide give us very high marks
for our implementation of the SEMI communication standards.” Within the ControlWORKS product development organization,
Adventa dedicates a team to meeting these standards.
