Introducing GAMMA2

Adventa Control Technologies, Inc. announces the availability of GAMMA2, a replacement for the GAMMA Data Acquisition System. The GAMMA2 will be used as an embedded PC or configured with I/O capability to collect sensor data from semiconductor process tools, assembly equipment, and manufacturing tools in non-semiconductor applications, as well as manufacturing systems in many process industries.   

"The GAMMA2 will provide more functionality than the original GAMMA System," reports an Adventa representative. "With more computing power, more memory, an internal hard drive, expandable I/O capability, and Adventa software, GAMMA2 will provide the functionality necessary to support data collection requirements for Adventa's APC software, which includes TIMS Fault Detection and ProcessWORKS model-based process control software."    

In late April, Adventa will post photographs of GAMMA2 on their website with a complete specification for it's internal computer, I/O capabilities, and physical size. Systems will be available for shipment by May 1, 2004.
