Semiconductor equipment OEM’s worldwide have now shipped more than 500 tools into production wafer fabs with Adventa’s ControlWORKS, machine and process control software. ControlWORKS is a machine control framework for semiconductor process tools. To date, Adventa customers have installed ControlWORKS on exposure tools, litho track systems, cluster tools, CMP tools and wet benches.With ControlWORKS, equipment manufacturers enjoy extremely short time to market of four to six months with a small control development staff that is typically 3 to 5 engineers. In support of 300mm fabs, ControlWORKS provides an extremely robust and complete implementation of the 300mm communication standard plus links to other applications, like fault detection and run-to-run process control.
