The organization and development staff of Adventa Control
Technologies, Inc. was previously in Texas Instruments' Process Automation
Center (PAC), an organization that designed and built production machines
and Semiconductor Manufacturing Systems for Texas Instruments. In the late
1980's through 1993, this same organization, while at TI, developed the
process machines, processes, and software for a successful conclusion to the
Microelectronics Manufacturing Science and Technology Program (MMST) that
was funded by TI, DARPA and the U.S. Air Force. The objective of the Program
was to demonstrate that a contemporary, multi-level CMOS design could be
produced in less than three days with the right mix of single wafer tools,
dry processes, fast response factory control, and state-of-the-art
technology in machine and process control.
